The love of our older units has led us to continuing our service procedures for our Classic units  ( classic means over 25 years old)  . Keeping them musically and functionally perfect .

You will need to send us pictures of you old ONIX unit, of the inside with the lid off, and the back panel.

We then check the manufacture date and the specification .

We only use parts we have always used, parts that sound identical to the parts we used originally  , Crucially keeping all amps 100% genuine ONIX AMPS made by us  . The parts sound right, fit right, work right , and ARE RIGHT . They are not " near enough "

We often see units badly repaired by people that have no idea what they are doing , having to rectify their screw ups before we start. We are sure no repair person knows how our amps work, or what we did to make them sound so good  . Its unbelievable how bad some OA21 units have been repaired often with components that are 100% wrong , wrong value,  wrong size , or just often bodged by being glued in. Most ( if not all ) repairers spray contact cleaner on switches,  this ultimately ruins the switch

( some switches are plastic and cleaner destroys them after a few months )  .

Some switches cannot be replaced , so we take them apart to renovate them . We DO NOT spray contact cleaner on them ever.

Our parts  are the RIGHT PARTS that we approve and know sound right. Only one person does these renovations, our CEO.

He is the only person that can do this job the way it should be done with new case tops and fronts if required, they come back like new. 

All renovations are tested and "listened" too before becoming an ONIX Approved renovation giving you amp original life again.

COMPONENTS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL , the spec sheet cant listen and it seems many dont.

Our circuit designs are proprietary  ( Only ONIX OA21 have the circuits we created and we do not give them out ) .

We have yet to find ONE " repair shop"  that repaired our units with the right parts or in the right way .

Amplifiers are not cars , or old TVs, they are years of knowledge and know how, ours are evolved designs , Keep them that way .
