My personal life and my business life are separate. Far too many people struggle with this choice in 2025. Some want to have their lives posted on every social media platform. I have never craved fame or attention, there is no strong or real leader that really wants that . Even if they get it, they most likely don't want it . Health and mindset are is my priority, as I know time is our most valuable asset - I treasure each minute .
When you do business with OA21 ltd or any of my other companies , you do business with the company , The company is not a person .. OA21 is a team of great people, we all paly a role in its success. We all deserve respect for our efforts and we are all what makes it work . I am the man at the top and I accept the buck stops here,. Likewise the company is OA21, so please respect my privacy and my personal life as we respect yours .

The sentence above resonates with any true entrepreneur or business owner, You only have to research how many attack those that run companies, not the company itself , Often I have never met or spoken to the haters , I rarely know who they are . People using social media thrive on negativity, and look for recognition from other negative users.

I think most engineering is undervalued. Such as our ONIX AUDIO DNA Ultimate and the years it has taken to perfect . Electronic value is often misunderstood, just look at cell phones, they cost 20 to 60 USD to make , yet people pay 1000s for them . This is marketing at its best. We make the best amps, many experience it and tell us we feel valued . The masses that buy marketing, just have no idea how they are being used in todays world of " Marketing is king " or "accountants run companies " . We have integrity and we live by it, and we think those that respect our integrity understand what we do . Equally those with no understanding or respect define those that attack what we do .

​Marketing and how it has changed the world of who we all are

​​I don't like deceptive marketing created by companies that ultimately make the biggest profit from what you buy , it is very concerning generally, it is however rife and now sadly marketing is often the whole success or failure of a company . Everything is about "share price" and what the "markets" think . The customer rarely matters , they are as much the product as the product itself . China thrives on false specs and unreal adverts to sell inferior products, knowing most cant or don't bother to check it .
Customer's need to stay informed and never make a choice on what others post on social media, or for money paid to them to promote it . Look at the motive not the hype. Look at the person posting ,and what else that have posted - Look at the product not the adverts and look at the value not the price . If you want great amps it will lead you here, but you might have a journey before you realise it .
Personal Principles

Many have agreed with my principles over the years, meaning we have been making great amps that people love for years. It never bothers me that some despise my success - Some might say its actually a compliment . Everyone must look behind the reasons people attack others . If you let this noise get to you , then you are loosing the fight . Trustpilot is an example , I think it is the most corrupt and cloaked tool on line - All they care about is new accounts and have ZERO INTEGRITY .

From 21 years old after I qualified, I co-designed all original ONIX AUDIO products - OA20-OA21- OA24- OA401 -OA601 -OA801 and the original ONIX AUDIO range .
I was behind the aluminium case work and all production processes of ONIX AUDIO . The production engineering was my task on all ONIX OA21 amps built since 1984, The models that built ONIX AUDIO to a household name and now known to the world for reliability and cosmetic excellence . I am really proud of that.
I was responsible for the build integrity and awesome durability of ONIX AUDIO products like the OA21 and the OA22 being the sole owner of ONIX AUDIO from 1985. I am fortunate to be trained as a "clean sheet designer" which means I can design the whole product including the case work / electronics / and manufacture processes .This is very rare now. Material technology is one of my passions , naturally all ONIX AUDIO products are exceptional in this area, that's why they last so long and sound so musical . I use the right parts for the job .
I consider the worlds worst problem is - "Material Cost cutting " and inferior design . China is the biggest culprit, of both - China does not care, or worse they don't comprehend design & material integrity and cost cutting wins .
ONIX AUDIO does not sell anything to China, they make MP3 players and we make High Power Audio amplifiers that sound the way we know they should . Yes all amplifiers sound different. ALL

Some Notable Achievements along the way

I have been an audio consultant for several international electronics companies over the years, and have been involved in design of their product ranges. I have overseen production processes to product production, and consumer sale across the world .

I have designed modules for the aviation industry and various modification requirements with electronic systems. Including, creating a patent that is now used by a large well known company building commercial aircraft .

I entirely designed the ONIX DNA Range - ONIX DNA Ultimate - and the ONIX DNA 45/50 , as well as the awesome ONIX AUDIO OA21 legacy.

I have worked in a training capacity for a UK TV Chanel and have trained others in my field for specific jobs .

Discover Adam Worsfold - the start of great Life
After finishing my apprenticeship and gaining my electronic design qualifications, I started working at a service company as a bench engineer. My starting pay scale was the lowest they pay . . Within 2 years I had risen to a UK Troubleshooter & was one of the highest paid in a company of over 4000 People. I needed a new challenge and ONIX called me at only 21. Time to grow . I knew I had the passion and was ready to learn , so I quit my salaried job and went for it . I took the leap and made ONIX AUDIO happen. I made mistakes, after all who doesn't , and I made some great choices but I successfully put ONIX AUDIO and OA21 on the worldwide audio map . I built a brand and the company I defy anyone to prove otherwise .​
ONIX AUDIO 1986 - 1991
​
I grew ONIX AUDIO to a worldwide exporter ( 28 Countries ) of great UK made ONIX amps, in particular the OA21 . Within a year of its formation I had become the sole owner of ONIX AUDIO, and within 5 years I built and owned ONIX AUDIO to a £ 3 million a year company. I had registered the name ONIX in 1988 as a trade mark and I had become wealthy at just 27 years old. This was an exceptional achievement in anyone's eyes in the era it was done. I soon learned what this actually meant to my life in particular the downside. I learned that Jealously is very real , and most people try to pull you down rather than help you succeed, It hurts you in many ways, but its a lesson every single successful entrepreneur has to learn. It makes you hard and smart to people in your life .

ONIX AUDIO 1991

The story of my 1990 Porsche 944s2 - Here
I sold ONIX AUDIO for a considerable sum when I felt the time was right , I was just 29 . Not long afterwards the sale contract of ONIX ELECTRONICS LTD was broken by the buyer ( Yes more life learning ) Consequently I entered a legal battle to recover my loss. I won this 12 years later, after tenacity with fight beyond anyone's expectation. This legal learning curve being my first real lesson in business, teaching me so much about money and how people will lie and cheat to get it. This was a life changing lesson for me . ONIX AUDIO 1991 - 2010
After the sale of ONIX AUDIO and while I was legally trying to recover my losses from the broken sale contract , I was caught for speeding while driving my Porsche - ( Yep my fault 100% ) - I was banned from driving for 6 months . I decided I needed to use this free time for progress , so I studied to become an "Microsoft Certified Professional" at an official Microsoft training center in London. I saw the future of computer opportunities , so I qualified and moved forward with a new project. leading to my computer company being formed .
The new company started making computers and installing networks. I quickly gained contracts with Sega games and British Airways to name just two. My company grew to a size I didn't anticipate or expect . I sold that company 4 years later for a large amount of money at 35, I left the UK and resided outside the UK/EU so as to legally keep a 100% of the sale proceeds . ( Paying 50% Capitol gains was not on my radar ) This is when I discovered Asia and my alternate home . After I fell in love with the culture, the place and the sun I left the UK and made Asia my other home . I now split my time between the UK the EU and my home in Asia, with the UK being a place to visit but no longer actually live .
ONIX AUDIO 2010
After winning the legal fight from the sale of ONIX and regaining legal title of the trade mark ONIX , I used my brand ONIX once again in 2010 to resurrect the original standards with new designs, we design & make our own products, so it was a challenge all these years later , but I did it and here we are today many years on . We make our own amps and they are the best you can buy ... most people just don't realize how good they are. We are small and I am still hands on. Exclusivity works for us . There is not a better product than one made with pride/passion and knowledge by those that make it, and design it . You are a person, never a number to me. I have sound at my core and you will too once you hear what we make . Our amps change your life with music and sound

I am a really unusual engineer in that I run my business with the needed knowledge and integrity to make it work, I am a communicator, business person, and an engineer - I love to be busy and work by choice . I live for personal freedom & achievement and despise corruption and zero-thinking people in today's world. I love everything well designed and engineered, and I dislike anything that is badly made or badly designed. I know China lies about spec of most of what they make , and it annoys me that buyers can't see it but worse don't look .
